We’re smack in the middle of Vurb’s Home Detox Challenge where we’re using Marie Kondo’s Magic of Tidying Up as our guide to organize our wardrobes, closets, and rooms.
Now that we’ve purged and let go of some things we should have a long time ago, we are ready for nice looking functional organizers. After scouring the internet we found some that will store and beautifully display those joy-inducing items we decided to keep.
These are our favorites for personal items:
1. Deluxe Bamboo Jewelry Organizing Stand
Where can I get it: Houzz
How much does it cost: $29.99
Why we love it: In our rush to get ready most mornings, it’s easy to forget we own some great accessories– out of sight, out of mind! This keeps everything neatly on display so we end up getting more wear from our jewelry.
2. White Crocodile Leatherette Hair Styling Station
Where can I get it: GreatUsefullStuff.com
How much does it cost: $59.99
Why we love it: The built-in socket allows you to keep your straighteners, hairdryer, and curling irons together and ready for quick use.
3. Rubbermaid Configurations 3-Handle Low-Profile Box
Where can I get it: Amazon
How much does it cost: $15.53
Why we love it: It makes under bed storage look neat and the 3 handles make it easy to get to seasonal clothes.
4. John Lewis Fusion Over the Door Shoe Organizer
Where can I get it: John Lewis
How much does it cost: $27
Why we love it: It frees up floor and closet space. You can find these at John Lewis, The Container Store, and other organization brands.
5. Nordrana Baskets
6. Handcrafted Lipstick Organizer
7. Plastic Cellular Partition Honeycomb Drawer Organizer
