The American West is home to some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world. After spending a couple of nights inside Zion National Park, this park because my all-time favorite. I still remember strolling through it at dusk when the park was closed and we had it pretty much to ourselves. Zion is a paradise for hikers and rock climbers with towering sandstone cliffs offering some of the best climbing routes in the world and hiking trails with stunning views of the park\’s canyons and rock formations.
5. Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National is a must-visit destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The park is home to more than 350 miles of hiking trails, as well as opportunities for camping, fishing, and wildlife watching. Visitors can also take a scenic drive along the park\’s Trail Ridge Road, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
6. White Sands National Park
Another dreamy place to visit (and there are many out West) is the White Sands National Park. The world\’s largest gypsum dune field is 275 square miles of wave-like dunes in New Mexico forming one of the most unique geological sites you can visit. Talk about Insta-worthy… this place is just breathtaking!
